How My Own Hormone Journey Led to Renewed Rhythm Hormones

For me, hormone therapy isn’t just something I studied. It’s personal.

Like so many women, I went through my own ridiculousness during perimenopause and menopause. I knew I didn’t feel like myself, but finding someone who could put all the pieces together was surprisingly difficult.

I went from provider to provider looking for answers. Along the way, it felt like every new symptom resulted in another potential diagnosis or prescription. Trouble sleeping? A sleeping pill. Anxiety? Anxiety medication. Difficulty concentrating? ADHD treatment. Low mood? An antidepressant. Joint aches and pains? Another symptom to manage.

Before long, it felt like I had a medicine cabinet full of medications while still wondering: Why do I feel this way?

I wanted to understand the “why”

What frustrated me most was feeling as though my individual symptoms were being chased rather than someone stepping back and looking at the bigger picture.

That experience sparked my interest in hormones and the profound changes that can occur during perimenopause and menopause.

For me, there was another important reason I wanted to understand the science. Two of my sisters have had estrogen-sensitive breast cancer. I wasn’t interested in simply hearing that hormones were either “good” or “bad.” I wanted to understand the evidence, the risks, the benefits, breast health, and how treatment decisions should be individualized.

That curiosity ultimately changed the direction of my professional life.

Turning my experience into expertise

I began immersing myself in hormone health and have since completed hundreds of hours of continuing education and specialized training.

My training and credentials include:

  • Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP)
  • Dr. Heather Hirsch–trained hormone expert
  • Specialized education in hormone replacement therapy and breast cancer

But education doesn’t stop with a certification. Hormone and metabolic medicine continue to evolve, and I continue to study the research so that the care I provide reflects current evidence rather than outdated assumptions about menopause, testosterone, or hormone therapy.

Renewed Rhythm Hormones was created to offer something different

My own experience helped shape the way I wanted to practice medicine.

I want patients to have time to tell their story. I want to look at symptoms together rather than treating each one in isolation. And I want patients to understand their options so we can make decisions together.

Today, I truly enjoy helping both women and men feel their best through individualized hormone, metabolic, and healthy-aging care.

That may include menopausal hormone therapy (HRT), testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), sexual health, metabolic health, or GLP-1 medical weight management, depending on the individual.

Hormone therapy isn’t appropriate for everyone, and hormones aren’t the explanation for every symptom. Part of good care is knowing when we need to look beyond hormones, too.

Personalized care without the expensive concierge model

I also wanted Renewed Rhythm Hormones to be financially accessible.

Many hormone and longevity clinics operate through expensive memberships or recurring monthly fees. Renewed Rhythm Hormones does not require a monthly membership.

I’ve worked to keep pricing competitive while minimizing additional costs whenever possible.

Labs can often be ordered through your regular healthcare system, or an affordable lab kit can be sent directly to you. When appropriate, FDA-approved medications can be sent to your local pharmacy, rather than requiring patients to purchase everything directly through the clinic. Compounded medications are available when there is an appropriate reason to use them.

I also work to provide affordable options for GLP-1 medications and metabolic health treatment when medically appropriate.

My goal isn’t to sell you the most expensive program. It’s to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care and help you find an approach that makes sense for your health, your goals, and your budget.
